Welcome to TriFundit. Your privacy matters here. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how it moves through the platform when you show up as an Athlete, Sponsor, Charity, or guest.

 

By using TriFundit, you agree to what is outlined below.

We collect information to operate and improve the platform. This may come directly from you, automatically through usage, or from connected third-party services.

The types of information we may collect include:

  • Identity Information: Name, username, profile photo, and similar identifiers

  • Contact Information: Email address, phone number, mailing address

  • Payment Information: Details required to process donations and transactions

  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interactions with the platform

  • User-Generated Content: Photos, videos, comments, and campaign-related content you upload

  • Location Data: General location data if enabled, used for local campaigns or events

  • Health and Fitness Data: Activity data collected through connected third-party services (see Section 1A below)
     

1A. Health and Fitness Data

TriFundit is built around movement with purpose. If you choose to connect a fitness service or device, we may collect and process certain health and fitness-related data (“Health Data”).

 

What this may include:

  • Activity metrics such as distance, duration, steps, workouts, or similar data

  • Activity type and timestamps

  • Basic connection data required to sync with third-party services

 

How we collect it:
We only collect Health Data when you explicitly authorize a connection between TriFundit and a third-party service such as Strava or similar platforms. We do not access this data without your consent.

 

How we use it:
Health Data is used solely to power the core experience of TriFundit:

  • Tracking activity tied to fundraising

  • Measuring progress toward goals

  • Displaying milestones and activity summaries on your profile or campaign pages

 

How it is shared:

  • Select activity summaries such as miles completed may be visible publicly as part of your fundraising activity

  • We do not sell Health Data

  • We do not use Health Data for advertising

 

Your control:
You can disconnect integrations at any time to stop future collection. You may also request deletion of previously collected data by contacting support@trifundit.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to keep the platform running and meaningful:

  • To provide and improve services, including fundraising tools and payment processing

  • To communicate with you about updates, activity, or support

  • To personalize your experience and surface relevant content

  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations

  • To display profiles, fundraising progress, and activity as part of the platform experience

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share information in the following ways:

  • With Charities and Partners: To support fundraising participation

  • With Service Providers: Payment processors, email services, analytics tools

  • For Legal Reasons: When required to comply with law or protect users and the platform

  • Publicly on the Platform: Your name, profile, fundraising activity, and progress may be visible as part of the community experience

We do not sell your personal information.

  • Access and Update: Edit your information through your account

  • Delete: Request deletion by contacting support@trifundit.com (some data may be retained for legal or security reasons)

  • Opt Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

  • Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured format
