Connect Nike Run Club to Google Fitness

Updated: 14 hours ago

Using Nike Run Club (NRC) or Nike Training Club (NTC) for your daily workouts? No worries! You can easily sync your data to TriFundit with a simple workaround. We’ll guide you through the steps to ensure everything syncs smoothly and your progress is tracked.

Here’s how to get it set up:

Step 1: Install Google Fit

Ensure that you have the Google Fit app installed on your device. If not, download it from the App Store and log in to your Google account.

Step 2: Install a Third-Party Sync App

Since Nike Run Club does not directly sync with Google Fit, you’ll need a third-party app such as "Health Sync" or "SyncMyTracks" to facilitate the connection. Download and install one of these apps from the App Store.

Step 3: Open the Sync App

Open the third-party sync app you installed and follow the on-screen setup instructions.

Step 4: Authorize Access to NRC and Google Fit

You'll be prompted to authorize the sync app to access your Nike Run Club data and Google Fit. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the necessary permissions.

Step 5: Select Nike Run Club and Google Fit as Sources and Destinations

In the sync app, select Nike Run Club as the source and Google Fit as the destination for your data. You may need to log in to both accounts if prompted.

Step 6: Choose Data to Sync

Select the types of data you want to sync between Nike Run Club and Google Fit. This typically includes workout types such as running, cycling, walking, and more.

Step 7: Initiate the Sync

Start the sync process within the third-party app. Depending on the app, this may happen automatically or require manual initiation.

Step 8: Confirm Connection

After the initial sync, confirm that your data is appearing correctly in Google Fit. You may receive a confirmation message indicating that the sync was successful.

Step 9: Sync Workouts

Now that your accounts are linked, any new workouts recorded in Nike Run Club should automatically sync with your Google Fit account. Depending on your settings, this process may happen in real-time or periodically throughout the day.

Step 10: Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the connection process or with syncing workouts, double-check that you've granted the necessary permissions and that all apps involved are up to date. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the apps to refresh the connection.

Step 11: Enjoy sharing your progress & raising funds for your cause!

With Nike Run Club and Google Fit connected via the third-party app, your workouts are pushed automatically to TriFundit via Google Fit. If your miles aren’t pushing through properly, or you need additional help getting set up - reach out to us at support@trifundit.com
