Using Nike Run Club (NRC) to track your fitness? No problem! Push your workout data to one of our favorite supported apps, Garmin!
Here’s how to get it set up:
Step 1: Install the Garmin Connect App
Ensure that you have the Garmin Connect app installed on your device. If not, download it from the App Store and log in to your Garmin account.
Step 2: Install a Third-Party Sync App
Since Nike Run Club does not directly sync with Garmin Connect, you’ll need a third-party app such as "RunGap" or "HealthFit" to facilitate the connection. Download and install one of these apps from the App Store.
Step 3: Open the Sync App
Open the third-party sync app you installed and follow the on-screen setup instructions.
Step 4: Authorize Access to NRC and Garmin Connect
You'll be prompted to authorize the sync app to access your Nike Run Club data and Garmin Connect. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the necessary permissions.
Step 5: Select Nike Run Club and Garmin Connect as Sources and Destinations
In the sync app, select Nike Run Club as the source and Garmin Connect as the destination for your data. You may need to log in to both accounts if prompted.
Step 6: Choose Data to Sync
Select the types of data you want to sync between Nike Run Club and Garmin Connect. This typically includes workout types such as running, cycling, walking, and more.
Step 7: Initiate the Sync
Start the sync process within the third-party app. Depending on the app, this may happen automatically or require manual initiation.
Step 8: Confirm Connection
After the initial sync, confirm that your data is appearing correctly in Garmin Connect. You may receive a confirmation message indicating that the sync was successful.
Step 9: Sync Workouts
Now that your accounts are linked, any new workouts recorded in Nike Run Club should automatically sync with your Garmin Connect account. Depending on your settings, this process may happen in real-time or periodically throughout the day.
Step 10: Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during the connection process or with syncing workouts, double-check that you've granted the necessary permissions and that all apps involved are up to date. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the apps to refresh the connection.
Step 11: Enjoy sharing your progress & raising funds for your cause!
